I'm not sure what "real" or "fake" means for something like this.
It doesn't claim to be sponsored by any particular church or organization.

Sorry, editing problem.
I was going to say I'd be interested to know how many registered users, or whatever, there were. Then I went to see if that info was on the site (didn't see it), and forgot to edit.

Here's a pic of Jesus!
Taken in 24 A.D. according to this reliable site.

Posted: 10/6/09 at 12:29pmI honestly can't decide if it's a joke or not. The more I read of it, the more I think it IS (check out the rules and guidelines), but fundamentalist christianity has done such a good job of sincerely presenting itself as totally batsh*t and off the rails that it's hard NOT to believe that this itself is a sincere manifestation of ideology.

I suspect that it wasn't started as a joke, but being an "ipedia" it allows anyone to contribute so I'm sure some people are making it a joke.

Phyllis, my read is some guy tried to set this thing up (and it seems redundant, because there's already a conservapedia) but did a really half-assed job and/or quickly abandoned it leaving it an uncontrolled wilderness of nuts and/or hackers.
I mean, that photo's a great example. There's no way it's a photo of Jesus from 24 AD. If the photo was that old, it would have been in black and white, not color.

My Kringapedia (coming soon) is going to be real, too.
I'm just not sure what it's going to be.

The Chick tracts provide hours of entertainment. If you think it quaint that women fainted hearing Clark Gable say damn, imagine the days when crude squiggly line drawings were enough to induce vomiting!

And kids love them, too!
It’s fun to hear what they say when they get Chick tracts.
After you’ve done it once, you will understand how much kids love these things. Here are some of the things we have heard them say,
“Wow, comic books!”
“Hey, they’ve got the good stuff here!”
“I’ve already got this one. Can I have that one instead?”

I love this one. All you have to do is avoid staying at Camp Basil Bub.

Posted: 10/6/09 at 1:30pmJoey and his flannel-frocked pastor are awfully calm on the morning following the massacre of several high school students and Sheriff Buford. And Satan obviously wears the pumpkin on his head to hide his receding hairline. Updated On: 10/6/09 at 01:30 PM

I found the real photo. Who is stupid enough to believe Jesus is an African woman? Everyone knows Jesus is a Hispanic name.
But the pastor is right. Druids are spooky.
