Well, I missed that Luke line I guess. I got home right for 10:00 and my niece started im'ing me and I was trying to catch up with the boards and email and blah blah blah. So as usual, I didn't pay much attention to GH.

I did say when the Damon firing was announced that Leslie was probably very upset and pissed off.

Scotty killed Rick, you mean? Really? I thought I heard Lulu confront Alan yesterday - will that cause his heart attack?

Oh, they didn't say he killed Rick. But I have a feeling that's where they're going with this. For some reason which I guess will be explained, it'll come out that he killed Rick, let Laura take the rap and is filled with guilt about her catatonia. I thought he stopped carrying a torch for her years ago, though. He's had other loves...Lucy, Dominique, etc. Hmm. I could be wrong. But why else would they bring him back?

Yeah, I think Alan will croak and Lulu will be blamed--giving the Quartermaines more reason to dislike her.

Wow! It really WAS a great episode! I had been getting annoyed at the constant replays of the beginning sequence day in and day out, but it worked today with the music. It's pretty exciting. I'm just so, so bummed about Alan.

Not reading any posts yet - just watched Thursday's ep - it always cracks me up when people try to reason with terrorists.

Emily: "She's pregnant!" ??? So?? They're TERRORISTS. Moron!

Carly: "This is my engagement ring, you have to understand." TERRORISTS.


ETA: Emily had to OPEN the first aid kit to know there were no surgical instruments in it???? Oh my God, these writers really do think we're complete idiots.

It's fun to see Scotty and Luke hating eachother again. Luke can never, ever get enough screentime to satisfy me. Where does that charm and presence COME from?!

Re: the surgical instruments. BWAH! I know. What the hell did she think was going to be in a first aid kit? Anesthesia? Morphine? Surgical grade blades?! Emily and her scrunched up face with its singular expression to connote puzzlement/love/worry/rancid fart smells should die. She sucks.

This would be PERFECT time, being Sweeps and all, to bring back Frisco, Felicia, Robert and Anna. Robin's been SHOT! Call her parents, dammit! Maxie's in there...can't Felicia leave her frigging grandmother's side (isn't Mariah dead already?) for five minutes? Frisco could help! They can use the WSB expertise excuse, and the Classic GH fans can get some satisfaction at seeing their beloved favorites. Not that the writers have shown skill at putting them to good use, but still.

I admit my motives are selfish, but it would make sense, too. Tie in the classic with the current crop of (read: young!) characters.

Yes, Maxie's Mariah comment was funny. She's an interesting character. She's a wench, true, but I like that she's the ONLY one who doesn't see Elizabeth as the perfect Madonna earth mother. I also like the developing friendship with Sam.

Maxie is a jerk, but I feel for her - there's that whole heart thing, the whole dead boyfriend thing, and then the whole mother thing - she left to take care of Mariah what, 15 years ago? Rarely visits? Nice parenting. Especially since the girl's father abandoned them as well.

I hated Carly yesterday. Really, truly hated her. Her temper and outbursts are going to get someone killed. But to Carly, expressing herself comes first, even in a hostage situation. It's all about Carly, all the time.
