Clues for This Year's Musical
Clues for This Year's Musical#0

Hi everyone
It's that time of year again! My school announces its season this Saturday, and all week we've been getting clues from the head of the department as to what this year's musical is. I'm stumped, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas.
The clues are:
Operetta Ruddigore
45 degrees
Heavyside Layer
Mdm = 46f
The only two very obvious allusions are Cats and a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta (they composed Ruddigore). Those are automatically out - as you can see our director gives RIDICULOUSLY hard clues and any seemingly obvious clues never really are.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Turns out the show is Thoroughly Modern Millie.
"Heavyside Layer" - apparently there's a reference in Cats to formeldehyde (think I totally just butchered that spelling) which is what Meers uses to drug the girls in Millie.
45 degrees is a reference to the 45 angle of a dancer's leg when doing the Charleston (like Sutton is in the show's logo)
Ruddigore - "Speed Test" is based off a song from that operetta.
Mdm = 46f has to do with some technical tap dancing term.
The final clue was a London borough - there's a borough of Sutton - as in Sutton Foster.
Toldja our director gives ridiculous clues. :)
