Neil LaBute has several plays with great 2 person scenes, Fat Pig, Some Girl(s), The SHape of things (THe last scene where Adam tells off Evelyn is great) Danny and the Deep Blue sea also has great material

Because I thought I could find someone here who knows: Can I have some examples of "Naturalistic" plays? I have to do a naturalistic monologue for my acting class and don't really know what naturalistic entails, Is "THe Skin of Our Teeth" something that could fit n that category? Thanks

I predict that as soon as the rights come out every high school girl will be begging their drama teacher to do LB as the spring musical or whatnot...

I'm auditionng for La Cage next month, (I'm a girl and a low alto) THe director said to bring a song that is of similar style to La Cage 42nd Street or If they could see me now are two songs I was thinking of choosing from Do these songs match the style? I've listened to quiet a few songs from the cd of the show any suggestions>? gracias

Just wondering.... i am sleep deprived, and have been thinking about what i want top do with my life while trying to get some sleep (thank you sinus infection...) I know how difficult it can be to make it as an actor out there in the world of theater But I was just wondering from some other views, how much harder is it to become a director? I have only worked with directors from my high school / community theater/ college. I KNOW directing is what I want to do. advice?

I'm going to be a camp counselor for the next few weeks, and I am trying to find some camp songs to bring-being a theater geek- what Broadway songs, or songs for shows would be fun to bring to a camp fire, as I want to teach the kids about theater (ages 9-14) must be appropraite thankls for any help!

there are so many amazing guy roles i wish i could play, when my brain starts working again, I'll list them

both times I've been in Midsummer, we've had a woman play Quince, and several mechanical parts were played by women I was also cast as the female equivelent of Egeus, Egia There was alittle Mrs. Robinson thing going on w/ Demetrius, which added alot of comedy to it i would love to direct a gender blind production of "Waiting for Godot"

when I read the title I thought that they were making "American Idol: the musical" wow, that would be....something else

its always awkward when they don't bow In "Hot n' THrobbin", at my college, the director just had the actors walk on stage one at a time and stand there in red light for about a minute. No bows.
