re: Coca Cola Zero

Here is the question:
Will they make coke zero with lime?
If there is no LIME, WHY BOTHER.
LIME IS FINE.
LIME IS Divine.
Lime is almost as good as WINE.

re: Coca Cola Zero

So? I've seen it several places now, in 20 Oz Bottles, 12 Oz bottles and in 12-pack cans. I love it a little more each time I imbibe. A couple people have privated me to share their "Coca-cola Zero" experiences-- has anyone else tried and what do you think?

re: Coca Cola Zero

I am very tempted to try it... since it is only part nutrasweet (to which I don't have as bad a reaction as I do to splenda), I think I might give it a try.

re: Coca Cola Zero

I've always hated the aftertaste of diet drinks. The worst is ordering a Coke somewhere and you discover it's diet on the first sip. I always make that face. I tried to get used to it for less sugar intake, but then just basically gave up drinking Coke or Pepsi almost entirely because I hate that bitter aftertaste. I'll try this Zero thing, but I'm highly skeptical. They always say it tastes just like the regular version, but it never does. NEVER.

I am drinkina Coco-Cola Zero right now. It truly tastes like Coke as opposed to Diet Coke. I love it.

re: Coca Cola Zero

As I hate hate hate hate the taste of full fat coke, I will give this a miss.

re: Coca Cola Zero

My dear Joe - I believe I have finally met my match! We could probably take turns trying to drink each other under the table with Diet Coke. I did not see your thread yesterday, when I first "discovered" Coke Zero in our vending machine. I bought it, and it was still a little warm, so I wasn't that thrilled. This morning I thought, maybe I was too harsh - let's give it another try. It was deliciously cold and incredibly good (Not only would Sondheim write Coke Zero, he'd win a Tony for it). I may have to replace my drug of choice!

This could be the start of something big...

OTA - I agree. I have been a Diet Coke fanatic for over 20 years, but this stuff is awesome.

re: Coca Cola Zero

I am glad I'm not the only one swept away by this! My only question is should it win the Nobel for Chemistry or the Peace Prize? Or, considering how many Diet Coke cans I've seen backstage, an honorary Tony award?

re: Coca Cola Zero

I prefer the taste of Diet Coke to normal Coke. I can't imagine drinking anything but Diet...

re: Coca Cola Zero

Ok, so I ran downstairs to Osco and just tried it. Now, I am a die-hard no-diet cola drinker. Coke Zero comes pretty close to regular Coke, but I can still taste the difference. I do admit, it is WAY better than Diet Coke.

re: Coca Cola Zero

One of the secretaries and the hot niece of one our suite mates are testing it out - I will keep you posted.

Is it sold only in Chicago right now?

re: Coca Cola Zero

Brdlwyr-I think it should be available in most all markets. Especially the big cities. I am in So Cali, and it is basically everywhere here! :)

I tried Coca-Cola Zero this past weekend. It tasted pretty much the same as Diet Coke with Splenda to me. (did that make sense? haha). I am not dissing Coke Zero, I am just saying I didn't really notice a difference. But that's just me.

Got it, tried it, hated it. I'd rather the sweat off god's backside any day.

Well who wouldn't Baddad-- but it's such a hassle to earn ones way into Valhalla with derring do and heroics, then make your way to the throne for your allowance of licks, always mindful of the line of warriors behind you waiting their turn not to mention the unknown multitudes who'd been there licking before--

Coke Zero I can get at the 7-11 next door!

re: Coca Cola Zero

I will have to settle with licking the sweat off of the behinds of regular Joes, which of course I have absolutely no trouble doing.

re: Coca Cola Zero

I made it a point to try Coca Cola Zero last night after reading this thread and feeling like I was missing out. It is SO much like Coke that it is almost bizarre. I had 3 friends try it to make sure I wasn't crazy and they all agreed. Very cool.

re: Coca Cola Zero

I'm drinking it, right now. Not bad. I've never had a diet drink before, so I'm breaking my virginity with this. I could switch from regular Coke to this. Although, there is a bit of an after taste. But, okay.

re: Coca Cola Zero

There's aftertaste with regular coke though. Icky sickly aftertaste that makes we want to gag.

My boyfriend pointed out the advantage of it not being sticky when you spill it. I spill lots of drinks. I'm dead clumsy!
