I don't drink it either... too strong for me. I drink lattes sometimes, but rarely.

I love coffee, but it doesn't love me so much. I consume what I can though, and especially love lattes/cappuccinos.

Tea is disgusting. I always think of that Peanuts cartoon where Linus makes Lucy tea by putting a brown crayon in hot water. That's about right.

I love ALL of them.

Coffee
Central Park
Curiosity/Prayer
There Will Be A Miracle
Quartet: You'll Go Away With Me

The first time I heard "Coffee" it gave me chills. The part where she goes, "I don't need the coke or booze, I can kick 'em if I choose but I could use a little miracle." And she gets softer at the end. Perfect.

i forgot about the Quartet number. PERFECTO.

on another note:

Does the sun really rise in the east?
does the earth reallyspin around the sun?
what's it matter in the least?
what's real for me aint real for everyone

but, i must say, i like Glory Day much better than R. Shoman.

I love Eight O'Clock coffee. I grind it fresh every morning and do it again when I get to school. I love the smell of fresh ground coffee and I love the smell when it's brewing.

Yup, I'm a coffee drinker.

Amen to your Coffee (the song) commentary Ashley! I remember seeing her do it, and the emotion she wored physically translated exactly to what she did with her vocals and the dynamics. I'm so glad this show was preserved. In my opinion one of MJL's best and certainly Idina's best.

Oh how could I forget Gloryday?!?! Love it! I like Gloryday better too. That quote you just said was my signature quote until today. "I think if you have faith, anything that seems impossible is possible." Not on the cd, but a line that "the Priest" said during the show.

I hate Starbuck's and all those other coffee conglomerates. They are the bane of this society's existence. Pretty soon we will be known not by our names, but as "Chai mocha latte" or "Tall frap with extra whip." Damn them... damn them to coffee hell...

Amazing show. But I'll tell you, that you learn a lot more from listening to the OCR also. Especially if you (like I) only saw the show once. You miss a lot when you see it without knowing the music.

"You were always a gullible dope. You keep playing dumb and baby you'll be the pope." That song is stuck in my head now from your signature.

MY FAVORITE SONG (the greatest practical joke)

"i'll go away with you"

i would love to direct a production of it. but i don't think my high school is ready for it re: Coffee

Yeah, as much as I loved the production I was too stunned by perfection to have absorbed much of it. The cast recording was essential to me. I only saw it once too.

I think I have a problem... I can't go a day without listening to it. When I first got it, I literally had to listen to it twice a day.

I hate coffee. But I'm addicted to tea. Especially fruit ones, like raspberry, lemon, strawberry, blueberry...yum.

"Anyways, I hate coffee. I wish I did like it. As a theatre person, I feel like a traitor. But I just don't like it. So I get tea and pretend I'm drinking coffee."

I would say that tea is more often associated with theatre.

Count me in on the SWIWS addicts. I adore it. My top fives songs are:
