I hadn't heard of this anywhere and randomly clicked a link and saw it on IMDB. I really like the original and can't say I mind anything with Collette so I'm excited for this!

I loved the original as a kid, but found it pretty unwatchable last week when I found it on Netflix.

i have never seen Fright Night in its entirety... only in bits and pieces... I may have to rent it... gotta' love William Ragsdale! Herman's Head rules!

The Peter Vincent role, played by Roddy McDowell in the original, will be played by former Doctor Who star David Tennant. Instead of a horror show host, Vincent is a Las Vegas magician. A photo of the poster is at the link below.

I think it's the Tennant factor that makes me actively want to see this. Otherwise I would have waited until it was streaming on Netflix, but now I might even consider going to see it at the dollar theater.
