College Major... what is or was yours?

This isn't on the student board for one reason, and IMO a good one, so don't whine. The fact that the only people who go there (and even they don't go often) are students, and I want replies from those who used to be students here. That is my reasoning, and well yea now on to what I want to ask...

What is or was your college major? Why? How do you like it (or how did you like it)? What do you plan on doing for your career (or what did you go on to do)?

And anything else you want to say about this type of subject, can go on about switching majors, if you wish you could go back and do it again (for those who have graduated obviously), going to grad school, how college helped your career, what college you went to or are going to... whatever you want to say.

Practical Absurdism.

I'm a double major in Theatre and Pre-Law with a minor in teacher certification. I'm one of the future liars..erm..lawyers of America.

How does a Practical Absurdism major differ from an Applied Absurdism major?

Right now I'm majoring in Art History with a concentration in Visual Arts, cuz my school doesn't have an actual visual arts major :o( I'm thinking of studying painting mostly, maybe photography too. Quite useless in this age of overwhelmingly abundant digital imaging technology. Whatevs, call me old-fashioned. *creaks on her hinges* I'm not really sure I want any set career in particular ~~ I'll just work as bartender or something. *isdelusional* I know. Buut..idunno, maybe I'll work at an art gallery? Or for a magazine.

My future is so organized!

Which is good and bad.

Life can't be too organized, you know? Oh well, I'll see what I can do aobut unorganizing it lol. Also, I just don't have any passion for anyhting in particular, I have fun donig lots of things and don't need to do anything in particular with my life to have a good time. So in a way it's kind of bad, or at least I feel like it is... it sucks hving no real passion So I'm setting out to make a plan since it makes me feel better haha.

Being organized is always a helpful trait to have as an accountant at least.

We'll see how it all turns out. Should be fun... or so I hope.

I'm currently wokring towards an undergraduate degree in Technical Theatre Production and I plan on doing a graduate degree in the states in Set Design.

I know you want only former students, but its after 3 am and I'm bored and I can't sleep...

I'm a freshman at Boston University and plan to major in advertising with a possible minor in Spanish. I already "changed" once; I was a "declared" journalism major.

I've deferred right now, but come January I'm going back home to finish a BA, majoring in International Politics.
