I wear aquamarine contacts but I'm soon changing them to clear contacts because I am sick of people telling me I have pretty eyes when they're not my natural color. I love the compliments, but I hate it being like
"OMG You have pretty eyes......those contacts?"
ME: "Mmmhmm, unfortunately"
Strangly enough I don't react that way when I color my hair. But I guess the eyes have more of an effect.
I naturally have green eyes, that often change to gray. I once wore evergreen contacts that made my eyes look like emeralds. fun stuff.
I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)
