"Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is speaking this morning to Grover Norquist's weekly powerhouse gathering at Americans for Tax Reform of conservative associations, think tanks, and political operations.
As one major Republican operative told me yesterday: Someone like Condi Rice doesn't go to Grover Norquist's den to talk about the Annapolis Middle East peace process. She's going to secure her future in Republican politics and to position herself as a 'potential' VP candidate on the McCain ticket."

Posted: 3/26/08 at 2:30pmno way she gets on the ticket. i don't think. could she? would she be a positive or a negative? personally i think she's too closely tied to the war to do him any good and she's too repellant to the african-american community. plus i have heard her say before that she has no interest in being president. i think this is a little of somebody hoping that something will take the eye of the country off the democrats for a minute. not gonna happen, huffies.

Posted: 3/28/08 at 3:31pmCondi seems a ridiculous choice for McCain especially given the fact that he has never been a fan of Bush or his crew. Call me crazy but I would think he would want to leave all of that behind and move forward.
