she got in quite a few digs. but i have to say i was impressed with the way she looked in that dress. i kept re-running a certain portion...over and over and over and over...

oh ugh

someone needs to tell her:

A. she cannot carry a tune
B. she has NO moves
C. She looked like Barbie in that dress, in fact make that dress black and it was my sisters lounge singer Barbie outfit
D. She isn't funny

all I could see was 'Bitter, table for Bitter!"

It was a spoof so it was supposed to be funny. I thought the part where she slid off the piano and gave a little grunt was hysterical!

There's an article about it in today's Times.

Those who caught a glimpse over the weekend — either on television, or later on the Internet — of the torch song that Connie Chung warbled to mark the end of her short-lived program with Maury Povich on MSNBC, take note: She says she meant her performance to be a gag.

i was guessing that they were piping the music into an in-ear monitor on her and as a separate track on the telecast. the piano player was a prop. i mean he never looks at either the music of the keys. he just sits there grinning. i'm not sure he's even human.
