"That is so funny. My parents went to the first screening of that film as they were friends with Manny Wolf the Producer.
And I think Liza was there. I was just a baby "

Actually, you were 7 years old.. hardly a baby.

What kind of parents take a 7 year old to Cabaret? No wonder Corine turned out the way she did! All falling for the gay men and all.

well to be fair, Namo, Corine didn't say she went. She might have been back at the apartment playing with her friend Josh Mostel at the time.

Corine, "Uncle" Joshie never touched your special no-no area, did he?

"Ahhhhhhhhh, that manifestly explains a certain fixation."

It's more a "recognition" of a certain kind of mind at play. One of my nephews is also like that. And Phanty enjoyed a great inner entertainment in the process of creating this thread whether or not anyone else got his jokes (didn't you, Phanty?) My father and nephew the same way, maybe I am, too, I haven't thought about it.

I think you people need to focus on your own lives.
You really must not have one if you have to focus on this.
And I was friendly with Josh we lived in the same building.
He went to the Halloween parties and it was a very friendly place.
He would know me as Cory Cohen. My nickname.
I did not go to the party and screening of Cabaret. I don't know how old I was but 7 is a bit young for a screening of Cabaret and I would consider a 7 year old a child.
I would not take a 7 year old to a movie screening benefit of Cabaret.
YEESH.

There really is no "winning" with you Corine. I defended the fact that you never said you were at the screening. What I did note was that you weren't a BABY as you said - but rather 7. That's a fact - not a negative opinion.

Baby Liza or Baby Cory?

I stand by my use of the word fixation.

Craig, if one were to say they were a baby at the time of the film's release, then one might give the impression they are younger than they actually are. I think, as usual, there was plenty of calculation done.

Calculated? Or a common disorientation of specifics?

I think it's merely a celebration of Phantom2's new use of photos within the post.
