My radio was on all night and when I woke up, this guy was on the air. I listened for a while, and he said that he needs body guards 24/7 now. He was remarking how he hates it. I had no idea why he needed them, but now I guess I do.

the guy has some serious emotional problems and I don't think it's just for show and ratings. He cries more than my Mom does when she watches the Hallmark Channel.I hear he has lost 37 sponsors since last week.

A few sponsors may have dropped him, but they are dopes because he consistently wins the 5pm timeslot and scores third in cable news. Don't see Matthews or Olberman making those numbers.
I watch Beck a lot and the only time I've ever seen his break down was when he was talking about how his daughter has cerebral palsy and when she was born the doctor told him she would be a burden on society her whole life and she's now a college graduate.

1. The sponsors that dropped did it on a moral ground not a business one.
2. Ratings=/=Good. He is entertaining because he is so emotionally unbalanced.

If he were not affected by losing his sponsors why did he address it on his show in such a dishonest manner? He mentioned the founder of the group who is leading the boycott but the coward failed to mention the entire story.If were not worried he would have ignored it but Glen is losing sponsors and they do not look like they are coming back.Defend the pig all you like Goth, Keith is not hurting and he does not lie,mislead, or pull the below the belt tactics your hero and the morons at Fox resort to.
Glen Beck is like a Howard Beele type. In NETWORK Howard had a break down on live TV. His ratings shot up for the network because he was unbalanced and nuts. People love that. Beck is a conman and it's dishonest and only gullible blind followers fall for it. I bet you think WWF is real as well.

Glenn Beck is becoming, or already is, the male Ann Coulter. He's little more than a sh** stirrer, saying stupid, offensive stuff knowing that it will get a rise out of people and enjoying every last second of it like Simon Bar Sinister when it does.
Can't say I'm not enjoying the fact that he's being hoisted on his proverbial petard these days...

You can't determine someone is a hate monger by watching Youtube clips. Context is everything where Beck is concerned.
There are things that I disagree with Beck about. He is a Libertarian and believes the US should be run with a "do your own thing" attitude. He has praised the Vermont legislature for their gay marriage laws. Hardly the hate monger that you portray him to be.

Beck's position on gay marriage is the same as Cheney's: they support it when passed by individual state legislatures, but not by federal courts or state courts.
As nice as it is to have conservatives supporting gay marriage in any manner (especially when the president still doesn't), their position ignores the fact that it took the US Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia to make interracial marriage legal.
Anyway, back to Beck...
