Later, at the University at Albany, Mr. Markoff was a member of the College Republicans, and traveled to Washington in 2004 to hear speeches by Ann Coulter and Karl Rove.

"We were surrounded by such a left-wing student body, and he was more like me: he didn?t really share those sentiments," said one classmate, Jonathan Zierler, who said he had accompanied Mr. Markoff on the trip. "He was a traditionalist as far as things like men and women's roles in society. He was a throwback from a more conservative era."

It's coming out now (pun intended) that he also had several men's numbers who offered erotic services in his contacts.

Which just makes his affinity for Rove and Coulter all the more understandable.

Yeah he trolled for men on Craig's list too apparently. Self-hating and violent is always such a bad combination. Did you see his M4M Craigslist pics tho? Not bad. Does anyone know if the jail he's in offers conjugal visits?

What I read is one guy saying he was contacted by Markoff. And I don't mean to say drag queens can be a bit overdramatic, but one drag queen I know claims she was almost eaten by Jeffrey Dahmer. So, you know, grain of salt.

My ex, and now best friend, used to be a regular at the bar Dahmer went to and picked some of these people up at. He has even spoken to him. He said that one would never have known what he was doing by his behavior in the bar. He said he was very personable and that he even thought about going home with him.
