I just rented it from Blockbuster . I wonder why the suits in Hollywood keep wondering why box office receipts are down. When movies come to DVD & Cable so quickly, why bother going to the movies

What you wrote does describe the new movie but it seems as if Cinemax, or your cable company, might be pulling a fast one to get you to watch. Here is what the Cienmax page on the web has. Click on the Crash link on that page and see what comes up.

I am SO sorry for that headsup. this is the second time Cinemax pulled this. The first time was with Roma, that they claimed was Felllini, but it wasn't.

Cronenberg's CRASH is brilliant and provocative filmmaking. With any luck it's the unrated or NC17 version, rather than the R rated one. WATCH IT! So much better than this year's title-robbing Oscar winner.

Isn't there something not right with false advertising like that? I mean we're not talking about the world coming to an end, but what if you plan a get together, or simply arrange your evening to be home to watch a film and then it turns out they were jerking you around.

I may be the only one but I'm furious! I'm callilng them tomorrow!

Last summmer, my mom was praising CRASH and recommended it to me. I was like, "You liked CRASH?" At the time, I was only familiar with the James Spader movie about sex and car wrecks.
