Thin Mint Cookies. I found the recipe so I am making my own. I don't feel like paying $3.50 a box this year.

Kel.........when I was a Girl Scout in the 60's, we sold cookies for forty cents a box. The boxes were also double the weight that they are now.

I ran a Girl Scout troop this time last year. I am still recovering from all the money I spent to help my girls out. I am going the cheap way this year.

I second the chips and salsa...my friend and I have gone through one bag apiece in under an hour and a half on multiple occasions.

I also get really weird cravings for Shockers...those sour candies that used to be called Shock Tarts?

I really want a sandwich. I want it to be whole wheat with american cheese (not the one that comes in plastic, the one that you get at the deli), turkey and mayonnaise. But sadly, I don't have turkey so I can't make myself a sandwich .

Ok so the homemade thin mints turned out great, but it was so much work. It took about 2 and a half hours to bake and coat them then they had to chill to firm up the chocolate. I think I'll just fork over the money from now on.
