Looked @ ending again of 6 Feet Under
Is it just me or did anyone else notice George's death was not done & no matter how the other characters aged, he did not change that much
He's immortal.
I watched it again last night and noticed the same thing.
I also noticed that besides Keith's death, everyone elses death seemed non-eventful in comparison to the myriads of "characters" that were killed each week to start the show.
Rox, why didn't they age George? He showed emotion at Ruth's deathbed and cried. Everyone in the Ruth's death scene looked years older...except George. Very strange.

george was old looking already. no offense to james cromwell, who is one of the greatest actors ever. keith's death was very depressing and that method was unnecessary. i must say, however, that brenda dying listening to billy talk about Claire and Ted made me laugh my ass off

Crommy isn't of this world.
That's why.
He was talking about Claire and Ted? I heard him say emotional closure but I didn't know what relationship he was addressing.

there was a thread on the IMDB message board about wat he was saying. from wat i could hear, it was "....emotional closure....Ted told me something that night....Bren? Bren?"
Thanks Yankee. Now I can understand how he bored Brenda to death.
See..I took the scene with Brenda's death completely differently. I thought they were trying to show that even having gotten married and having children, Brenda and Billy still ended up together (whether in a creepy incestuous way or not!) in the end. They were that emotionally tied to each other that even in their old age they would be together.
