I'm all over the place with this, as I find someone new to obsess about on a constant basis...
Right now, I'm in a B'way obsessed phase, but before that it was

Toni Childs

Then before that, it was:

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Awesome list. Isn't it "Roll With Me Henry?" Here is mine:

1.) At Last (One of the most beautiful songs ever written)
2.) I Just Wanna Make Love to You (Long live "The Growl")
3.) All I Could Do Was Cry
4.) Roll With Me Henry
5.) Stop the Wedding (Again, the growl....*sigh*)
6.) Tell Mama

Harry Connick, Jr really does it for me. Although, I wasn't too pleased with him on Will and Grace, But his singing voice is wonderful.

I'm a loser, all but like, 4 of my CDs aren't Broadway related, lol.
Non Broadway- Green Day and Josh Groban (yeah, I know it's a weird mix!)

Broadway- Avenue Q and Rent (I've been obsessing over Rent since I got it a couple months ago, actually)

A most ingenious paradox.

I FINALLY (!) got Green Day's American Idiot this weekend, and I'm really liking it a lot. I haven't had a chance to listen to it a whole lot, but I see it being on heavy rotation for a while. I'm also missing Cerveris' Dog Eared. My copy was stolen a couple months ago, and I'm missing it now. I've recently had an itching to hear it...guess I'll have to re-buy it. ARG!

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

I've been listening a lot to the Ultimate Brian Setzer CDs -- two live shows, pure live recordings, no studio tweaking. Great stuff.

I can't seem to get enough of Nancy LaMott's most recent (posthumous) release...her phrasing and the arrangements are really phenomenal...Live at Tavern On the Green - everyone should own a copy of it if they want to hear how a song should be acted...

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" why is everyone so obsessed with Michael Buble'? He's only doing a carbon copy of what Sinatra did (and badly) many years ago - and his bloated face looks like a botched facelift...

Redhot - I don't know about anyone else, but there's no obsession here. I simply made the suggestion that if she likes Connick, she might want to check out Buble'. There's few recording who focus on that type of music, and he's a currently featured one.

And I won't even comment on the facial remark.

hey Dgrant - come on - don't join the ranks of the high and mighty around here - remember, this is a forum for people to express opinions and thats exactly what I'm doing. I think Sinatra was generally a terrible singer (his phrasing was some of the worst in modern history, and he screwed up lyrics more often than any other singer that I can think of) and I think Buble is just copying his style. He has a nice enough voice, I suppose - but he's just crooning, which always puts me off. I hate it when singers just sing without any intention behind the lyrics, without connecting to them - Buble does this, and so does Josh Groban (who has a beautiful instrument - but I swear I never feel a thing when he sings).

Redhot - no high and mighty intended at all. You asked a question, and I answered it according to my perspective, that's all. However, whatever you feel about his artistry - or lack thereof - doesn't have much to do with comments about his face.
