I'll try to get there around 5:30 too. If you want just PM me and I will give you my # or you can give me yours so we can call if we need to get in touch. I do believe that Moony still has my number and Moony you can give it to anyone from our group who needs to reach me.

So officially 6, but a lot of us will be there at 5:30. Great! Rath, no need to be catty about not joining us deary. We are all perfectly normal people looking to have a good time. *wow...I typed all of that with a straight face. Impressive. I know I could never say it with a straight face though.*

Moony and I both will be on the bar. That will teach our husbands not to join us, right Moony?

Aww you all make me feel so wanted, going out of your way for me and such...

Okay...I'm sorry I can't give any more definite plans till I talk to my friend, but I think her last final is today so I should be talking to her soon.

Initially I thought I'd just drop by w/ my friend, wouldn't wanna subject her to much bway craziness but you guys are making me feel too wanted for that...and then I was also thinking my initial plan was to drive down to her from me, which would take...5 hours...then from her to DC and then see Wicked...i think I may just be a tad tired...

So maybe I'll see if I could drive to her a day earlier, get there pretty late...then I'll have a good night's sleep and a chance to spend the day w/ her, b/c also a problem would be she's like my best friend, soulmate, etc. and i haven't seen her well since I sat near you at the KC Moony and I'm gonna want lotsa time w/ her right away, sot hat would make sense. if that works...then since everyone seems to be getting there at 5:30 for me/us, we'll be there then. We could also leave earlier to try to get parking.

I will try to get in contact w/ her though she can be quite the bum who never answers her phone and will let everyone know as soon as I know.

I've been really depressed so to get out of it, I just dyed my hair. It came out incredibly ugly so I will be wearing my Santa hat there. I'd appreciate it if one of you would crawl out from under the bar periodically and look for this lost old broad wearing a Santa hat - OK? (Since I still don't know who I'm supposed to ask for when I get there!)

Oh, Lordy, Mamie. Do you know how many lost old women with unusual hair coloring, wearing a Santa cap there are walking the streets of D.C. these days? You'll be one of a dozen at the restaurant!!

I am getting off BWW in about 10 minutes and leaving for VA in about an hour. I don't know if I will be able to check in here before the gathering. Bluemoon has my # if you need to reach me. I can not wait to see everybody there! Merry Christmas, Happy Hunaka, and Happy New Year to those who won't be at the gathering. I wish you all the best and happiest times. Well my friend e-mailed me, I'm going down to her Monday night, only staying till Wed ...she didn't comment on this, but I assume it'll be fine...we'll drive in earlier to see the Rent movie and then I suppose meet you all at the Hard rock around 5:30? I know Mamie and Moony and Kel's picture and Skittles if she's going so I'll look out for some of you or...something.

So we'll be there if you don't hear from me, I won't be on as much from her house, but I'm sure I'll still find ways on here, maybe when she's showering or something lol.

I had near-freakout this week when my mom said we might have to go to my grandparents' house on Tuesday night. It turns out she had the day wrong and we're going there on Monday night, but I was panicking for a few minutes. I was considering whether my grandma hating me for the rest of her life for ditching her would be really that bad of a punishment.

As I write this I'm listening to the song "Christmas Eve in Washington". It probably doesn't get any airtime elsewhere in the country, but they play it constantly here. Kind of sappy, but a nice tradition.

Okay...so I need to talk to my friend again but I *think* the plan is to see Rent movie in Fairfax, VA which is like 10 miles away, so should take us 10-15 min to get to hard rock from there...it's at 3:10 so hopefully we'll get there at like 5:40, 5:45ish.

Unless anyone knows if it's playing in a DC theatre that moviefone didn't tell me about...
