Happy holidays everyone!
Okay, my friend's cool w/ it, so that will be our plan, come to Hard Rock right after the movie. Now...anyone have parking advice?

Just one - don't drive. Take the subway.
(This is the advice I give everyone who's coming to the city. DC makes almost all their income from parking fines. Think about it!)

Posted: 12/24/05 at 11:42pmJust check the signs REALLY closely. If you can find metered parking, use it. You used to live here - you know it's never easy in a city.

Well, yes and no. I lived there but not w/ a car. Only had to deal w/ dorm parking
K, I'll bring a bucket of quarters my aunt gave me for laundry that I never used b/c I was able to use my GWorld card for Laundry lol.

OK, folks, it's almost time!!
When you arrive at the Hard Rock Cafe, just ask for the Broadway World Group. We'll be there around 5:30pm until the first one is arrested for disorderly conduct.
Kel - this is your reminder to bring nametags. I am bringing one I saved from the July BWW picnic. OK, so it says, "Hello - my name is Jose". I think you'll know it's me.
If you would like my cell phone number (or KelRel's)in case you get lost or are delayed, please PM me. Oddly enough, I don't post it on the internet. I'm funny that way. See you all tomorrow!

I will not be able to attend the get together tonight at Hard Rock as planned. I need to have my wisdom tooth removed unexpectedly and don't think I will be in shape to party!
Have fun and hope to catch you guys next time!

Well good news kiddies!
Got out the Wicked tickets and realized they said 7:30--silly me. So we should be able to stay letter than expected.

Atrias, my dear, you have a lovely neighborhood. So lovely that I got lost trying to get out. I was looking at all the light displays and not payimg attention to the street signs.
The night was a blast! Fun people, wild stories, good food (I think) and lots and lots of laughs. What a great group. We are doing this again soon!
The evening can be summed up in one statement:
Harpo is a lush.

Hi! Oh my, what a great time! And the chocolate martinis were awesome. I was so trying to keep up with Harpo, to no avail.

A fabulous time definitely was had by all. Toasts were made to missing friends - were your ears burning, Rath? - and they were made, at least our side of the table, with beautiful pink Cosmopolitans - as a toast to Addy who we also would like to have seen there.
As you can see here, cell phones will never replace cameras for picture taking (but thanks for trying DD!) and dear Harpo REALLY is a lush!
(hopefully Kel's pics will come out a little clearer!)

Glad it was such a great time! And of course, glad that you talked about me.
I hope it was all good, but I'm realistic.

There was a LOT of talk about a LOT of people - but all the talk about you was good. For that reason we dropped you and went on to better things....
