I live in the DC area...but alas, I too am a poor high school student, who can't think of a single creative explanation for meeting a group of people I've never met nor seen(and theatre people no less) to my parents. have a lovely time though! :)

Yes, the theater must not have heard about your absence that day because - incredibly - they're still going on with the show. seriously, though it's the only day in November that both Mary and I can make it and Karen seems desperate to get us up to see it asap (I don't think ticket sales are going well).

BUUUUT.......now that I know about this bus service, it opens up a lot of possibilties!

Where are you coming in from Blonde? I work at the Smithsonian a couple days a week and I'd be happy to meet your mom if that would make her feel any better. (Once she see's this old gray head, she'll know all is all right!)

Alright mama, let me get this straight: You're going to NYC on the 12th and I didn't know about this?!??! Don't you know that your suppose to run these things by me first *tsk* I suppose it's ok, as long as you're still taking me to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Thanksgiving. You promised. Remember, be nice to me, I'm the only one you got!

Moony I didn't know your daughter was my age (I'm assuming she was born in 83). Don't feel bad about her being home and posting on here at her age. It could be worse. She could be married, still struggling to get through college, working a crappy low paying job, and still posting on here on a Friday night.

She said she had to pick her up from somewhere. I thought she was still in high school. Moony doesn't seem old enough to have a daughter my age.
