It's funny going on Facebook to see what people agree with and not. Like I saw people who are Republicans complaining about Martha Raddatz not being fair to Ryan, but had no objection to Jim Lehrer not being a good moderator last week. People are really just going to see what they want to see.

You seem to dodge the FACT that Bush had any involvement. You are silent. Bush caused the problem yet when that inconvenient fact is pointed out, you whine and cry that Obama is blaming Bush.Like I said, you are unfair and you refuse to look at the facts.

Judging by the fact you post these idiotic claims but offer nothing to back it up shows that you don't know WTF you are talking about.

Because being left with the largest deficit after that his predecessor squandered the only budget surplus since Eisenhower made this easy to recover from. Especially with the latter half of this first term being the least productive congress EVER(!!!!!!!!).

Although I acknowledge that it is morbid to do so, I look at VP debates as two potential Presidents, if certain circumstances happen. The thought of Paul Ryan as President is terrifying.

With all due respect, when you work, have your own apt or house, pay medical expenses, and pay for your own food and clothing, THEN, perhaps, Romantico would take your comment more seriously. Of course, even in HS, you're entitled to be a Repubican or Independant, but be careful what you wish for.

You said Obama should take responsibility for something that was not his fault while you gave Bush a free pass by not even mentioning him.Obama has prevented the economy from getting worse. The mess he was left with could not be fixed in 4 years. We had Republicans and Democrats say that prior to the 2008 election.

I disagree with you because you are wrong. You don't have the facts.If so, you would be well aware when the financial crisis began and could see Obama was not even elected when it started.That alone tells me you are either ignorant of the facts or dishonest and unfair.

How has Obama spent more money than all the presidents combined? (You mean to say that Obama has spent the most money in not-quite 4 years than the previous 43 presidents put together, since Washington?) :-/

In Abby's defense she is just parroting the lie that is perpetrated by people much older than her. Yep, these people really believe that Obama spent more than all other presidents combined. They are the epitome of low-information voters. And they don't like to be confused with facts so attempting to educate them is useless.

If they are open to it, then I agree. I took her post as if she thinks she knows it all and we are all misinformed. I wonder where Abby thinks Obama was born. Or if she thinks he is a Muslim. Or does she think he has Death Panels? If they buy into one lie then who is to say they won't believe the others. If her parent's or older brother or sister is telling them this they will just take it at face value and believe it. No proof required.

abby--as someone who was there, let me give you some advice. i would guess you grew up in a conservative household and you are merely echoing your parents. no matter what one's political affiliations are, no one could possibly have righted the economy in four years. there was plenty of blame on both sides of the aisles, but also amongst all classes. the majority of the policies enacted by the president have been overwhelmingly centrist--the ACA was modeled on a republican plan, continuation of provisions of the patriot act, and the use of drones. the much booed first bailout was bush's idea. the fact is, if romney were elected, he would, like obama, have to shift his policies to the center to appease all (an obvious analogy is that obama was pro-gay marriage while he was a senator, and had to lie about it subsequently to avoid persecution from the religious right).

the main difference between the two parties is the republican's shocking kow-towing to moral casuistry that is 2000 years out of date. you are posting at a board populated by musical theater enthusiasts. perhaps you are interested in pursuing a career there one day yourself. the theater community has a huge LGBT element--and the republicans basically want them to live as second class citizens. if you do pursue a career and make friends in it, and ponder how many lives the right have ruined, you will see how evil it is.

sooner or later, you're going to have to free yourself from the way your parents think. i hope you do make it in musical theater one day--and witness for yourself the unspeakable horrors the right have inflicted. usually that's what it takes to unshackle the chains.

I have to say Ryan made my skin crawl. I find him very dangerous and scary. I wouldn't be suprised if there wasn't a 666 birthmark on his scalp! I believe there is a grave somewhere wher his mother, a jackal is buried. Romney/Ryan Bringing America Back to the Early 50's!
I actually fell in love with Biden tonight! This is really the first time I listened to him with undivided attention. I am so glad someone finally stood up to this brown nosing lying twit and called him on his B.S.!
