Did any of you guys see this movie?? If not, check it out on demand or rent it, because I just did and I was absolutely blown away by it. It's preachy and melodramatic in spots, but this is one of those "interconnected stories" movies that actually works. Every single character and plot is stunningly performed and fully realized. Usually with a movie like this, you can pick out the storylines that are more interesting than others, but I found every story compelling, engrossing, and authentic. I was so incredibly moved by the final sequence, which is climactic without seeming like a cop-out and without ringing false. It is undoubtedly one of the best and most emotionally rousing movies I have seen so far this year and it's a true shame it will certainly be snubbed by any major film awards. At the very least, it deserves a "Best Ensemble" nomination at the SAG Awards because every single performance in this film is a master class, and they all work so well together.
I just thought it was a haunting, beautiful, thrilling, and incredibly emotional movie that deserved a lot more attention during its brief theatrical run. I highly recommend checking it out if you think it might interest you.

(Yes, that's Marc Jacobs in the trailer. He has a very small, but crucial part.)
