Dance is going amazingly well for me right now! I just found out two weeks ago that I'm going to be in Elements II, the highest level at my school (out of 7 levels) next year. I'm SO excited, because I was one of the least-qualified and least-experienced people at the school when I started, and I managed to go from being one of the lowest-ranked sophomores to this. I'm just SO happy.
I have to find a new studio, though, which kind of sucks, because I got sick of my old studio. I was at a pre-professional ballet school, where I'd been dancing since I started at age 12 (late starter... haha), and by this year I was taking class six days a week, for three hours, and it just got to be too much, especially since I have no chance of being a professional ballet dancer. (Not good enough, also, bad body.) Plus, I want to take more modern and jazz. And tap, because I just finished up with Thoroughly Modern Millie and it got me back into tapping, and I've missed it. And I had to buy tap shoes, and I don't want them to go to waste!
