Dance Styles

There's not much dancing in the show, at all. It's more about the book and comedy.
As for the little dancing there is, there are little hand motions and goofy freestyling that add to the humour of the show. I don't know if you could categorize it, but I guess I would call it Simple Broadway Jazz? I don't know. You got a tough one.

actually there was a lot of choreography. i saw the rehearsal process, so i got to see what the choreographer would tell them to do and shtuff.
in magic foot- there's one point where he kept using FOSSE terms, and it was very jazzy- alot more dancing than people realize. and during alot of magic foot Rona and Panch do an intricate little dance sequence in the back.
in six languages marcy does ballet, hiphop, and some jazzy things. the others do a little jazz here and there.
in the ballet sequence, obviously ballet. it was funny there's this one move they called "The West Side Story".
in woe is me, the kids sitting on the bleachers had specific motions they had to do over and over.
