I was raised in Latin America, and 17 is about the age boys start dancing there. How I wish I had been raised here... but you do what you can.

Posted: 1/17/05 at 3:52pmI started late too. I started dancing in sixth grade, because my gymnastics gym also had a dance school attatched to it. I love dance. It has become my passion since college. I have danced in the chorus of many shows and have also been lead roles that have danced. And about where to buy dance stuff, I get alot of my stuff from Discount Dance and also the Danskin outlet in NY state just across the Tappen Zee Bridge.

i started when i was young then stopped(regret) but started back at 9 so yea 5th grade.
Brooklynschild your so lucky! how do you find out about auditions..do you have an agent or you just find them in papers and such. i know there's a website or newspaper or sumthing like backstage..is that where you find out?
