Posted: 10/31/06 at 4:27pmTesla's not a sufficiently large or challenging role to warrant it. Bowie did fine with what he had, but Caine, Jackman, Bale, and Rebecca Hall all did more. (I hope this is Hall's breakout role.)

Posted: 10/31/06 at 9:25pmI was really impressed with Bowie in that film. In fact, I thought he was the best thing in it. I thought that Bale started out fine but became increasingly irritating as the film went on. I became convinced that the snotty sneer on his face was the only expression he was capable of making. I was not impressed with him at all.
