He and his partner Brian were one of the 18,000. He gave a very quiet, steady defense of gay marriage, asking the ladies how they'd feel if they had to wait for the state of California to tell them if they were really married or not. And that, regardless of the "religious and emotional issues--Hello! It's NOBODY'S BUSINESS."

Posted: 5/29/09 at 9:51amI enjoy so much the intelligence and integrity he displays when he discusses Prop 8. Yet, as angry as he seemed when discussing the idiocy of the Prop 8 decision; he had the calm, good graces to utter a quiet "thank you Elizabeth" because she had brought up the Alzheimer's Benefit on Monday night. Such a lovely man.
