No, just recast. Ohhh, that leads to the Mimi's Mom story. The actress that used to play Adrian (as in Adrian & Justin Kiriakis, Adrian was Steve/Patch's sister, as in Patch & Kayla) came back to the show playing Mimi's mother. It's very confusing for a long time viewer. She is a redneck, country music fan idiot. I mean, everyone from the south is, right? Well, Maggie was on the island with all the other murder victims. Mimi's mom got together with Micky and they got married. I didn't watch any of that period of time. When Maggie came back the marriage was annulled and Micky and Maggie got back together. Mimi's mom convinced Mimi to have the abortion and faked a heart attack to keep Mimi from telling Shawn about Belle's baby. She is a piece of work. I don't think the show had one believable element anymore. lol

Oh, this is Bonnie, right? I didn't realize she was Adrian! I find her annoying; I don't know if it's the actress of the character. And by association, I find Mimi annoying now.

Mickey's alive, but he is now being played by John Inlge, who used to play Edward Quartermaine on General Hospital. Days is rediculous right now. General Hospital, on the other hand, has some great things happening. Sam found out that Alexis is her mother, but Alexis thinks the child she gave up for adoption died. Lorenzo got Skye pregnant. It's such a great show.

I never watched Days as religiously as I watched Another World, but this thread is hysterical.

I remember EONS ago, at least 13 years, at the end of one episode, Stefano had created three Marlena clones and sent them off to various parts of the world. The NEVER mentioned it again.

You wanna hear funny? I have a friend whose brother is in the makeup department of Days. Apparently Deidre Hall is in need of a facelift and for whatever reason hasn't had one yet. Her skin looks flawless on the show. Apparently they take these glue things attached to strings, put them strategically around her hairline and then PULL HER ENTIRE FACE BACK, every day. They hide the strings in her hair. It's the reason her hair is always blown forward. heh

My parents and grandparents are flying in and then we are spending the weekend in the city. It's funny to be vacationing so close to home. It is the greatest city in the world, though.

Hahaha, oy, the good old soap operas.

Colleen, I did watch GH again when Brenda came back but that bombed. Sonny saw her then got shot, and it took forever for them to spend time together, and then she just ended up with dull, boring Jax. Until she finally kissed Sonny after months...then she left the show. It was kind of pointelss.

I loved Rena/Lois too! My sister got all these Ned and Lois tapes and such. We actually saw a Kurth and Taylor concert (he sang "Flying Without Wings"--played Justin for the Days fans), and then he and Rena did a Q&A after (when they were together of course). She was about to join Melrose Place at the time.

OMG, I adored Jonathan Jackson too! I had a huge crush on him! And aww, Lucky and Lizzie in the beginning were so adorable, everyone loved them!

Yeah, my mom's been telling me and is all excited about Robert. Eh, I dunno. I just can't get into it again without a big push. Ooh, but I happened to be in my mom's room when she watched Tony's funeral so I watched that. I'm sooo glad they did that for him!

Hahaha, DOOL. There were two brief periods I watched Days--the couple of months before Eileen left--the 5th girl she played who I died and can't remember, and Susan stuck in that...Indian? palace. It was hilarious. That was also when Mike and Carrie finally got together and Kate and Sami fought, like that's not new...

Ooh, then Kate framed Sami for murder...I dunno if that was around this time, or the other time I watched, or maybe a bonus time I watched...

But anyway, the second time was the beginning of the Chloe storyline. The prom, and the beginnings of Philip & Chloe. It was so cute.

I haven't watched in ages. Is Jack dead? And is Abe still having problems with his willy? Do they still wheel out Alice to say a line a few times a month?

My interest in the show first began tapering off when Austin and Greta were stuck in the virtual Garden of Eden, and the others had a plane crash on a deserted island where somehow there was electricity for Alice to make doughnuts and for Shawn to accompany Millicent Martin (whatever her character's name was) on the keyboard as she sang "I'm Still Here." Yes, that really happened on the show.

Whatever happened to Gloria Loring (Liz)? Last I heard of her, she was touring in Anything Goes. Think Bill Hayes will ever come back to Broadway? Or Suzanne Rogers?

It killed me when I found out that Maggie Horton was one of the singers on Budddy's Blues on the original Follies cast recording.

I thought Marlena was the killer, being controlled by Tony, right? I didn't see the resolution of that, though. Who lived and who died on the island?

Also, I'm watching "tomorrow's" episode now - why are Hope and Patrick having sex (wasn't he with Jennifer?) and when did Abe come back?? And who's the haggard guy who, I suppose, was hooking up with Marlena? And why is Marlena in mortal peril (again)? And why are Sami and John fighting? And why is John overacting? (Just kidding. Does he know "subtlety"?)

BUMP! I need help from someone who watches this piece of crap.

I am not sure why I caught the show today, but I am lost. I havent seen any of it in months. HOW ON EARTH is Mimi pregnant by Philip and Belle pregnant by Shawn and Hope pregnant by Patrick??? I assume Hope and Patrick had a fling. What about the other two??
