Just God Bless the Daily Show in general, I'm llaughing my head off right now, I really needed that.
i say they skip Colin Quinn and let this go on. they could do hours of Daily Show from that debate

Yeah Colin Quinn is funny, but nothing compared to this.
"Well, actually he forgot Poland!"
I like Tough Crowd, but we can see Nick Dipaulo say horrible, deplorable things anyday

I loved Bush's heavy pauses.
Well.......uh.......
Clark's right, Kerry was very strong in theses debates. Bush really showed a weakness. A weakness we all knew was there, but still.
Ok, now for the Spider's thoughts (which aren't as reveered as say Margo's but I will try anyway). I caught the last 20 minutes or so and what I have gathered from that short amount of time............is that Kerry kicked Bush's butt all over the place. I mean, Bush repeated what he just said and kind of slipped his way out of answering the questions (which Kerry caught by the way). Kerry seemed more dedicated in what he was saying. Bush sounded like he was trying to think of a cool way to say something. Also, when they did their final remarks, I liked how Kerry looked directly into the camera and talked to the people like everyday people. Bush tried to "presidentialfy" his words and it came off VERY fake. So, I think Round 1 goes to Kerry.
Yeah, there was really no contest here. Makes it a little less fun to argue...
The undecided voter bit. The most hilarious thing I have seen! LMAO
i love steve's comment that, by some standardized tests, bush is actually retarded. that was the highlight of my evening. or maybe it was rudy pretending bush won it? ah, i love me some jon stewart.
Gotta love The Daily Show and Samantha B--she KILLS me!
Kerry whooped Bush's butt. No question. And, not by a nose/forehead--completely. I have more respect than before for Kerry and even less respect for Bush than before--which is a hard feat. I can understand a person voting Republican (despite the bigoted platform), but I CAN NOT see how ANYONE can vote for Bush FOR Bush. Watching Karen Hughes, Guiliani, and others muster up as much spin as possible (as well as acting ability*) to imply that Bush did well is LAUGHABLE. It truly saddens me that anyone could watch that debate and think that Dubya is anything other than a buffoon. And this was HIS strong topic! How can he possibly hope to do well on the domestic issues debate?
I really think this has come down to a sport for most of us. It's become "this is my favorite team and my team is gonna win and kick your butt!"
And the world and our lives hangs on that balance.
*speaking of acting ability, that was one of the worst performances I have ever seen when Bush talked about that woman who lost her husband.
Well, all W has to do next debate is not fall apart and he will have surpassed expectations...which in a bizarre way, could work for him and against Kerry.
Call me crazy, though, I think it's reasonable to expect the President of the United States to be articulate. Seems like it should be a minimum job requirement. W named dropped ALL night ...Vladimir and I, etc.. but the idea of him meeting one on one with other world leaders scares the devil, and worse, out of me....

Bush bombed. Did you SEE the republican spinsters on the news programs immediately after, they looked ready to CRY..
Joe Scarborough (who is apparently waging his own war against carbohydrates...he looks kinda hot) was very interesting last night on MSNBC. Those immediate reactions from conservative talking-heads were the most revealing. They really couldn't understand what happened and why Bush failed. The spin is the spin. But, in those first few moments, you really saw how Bush did.
