Bush is really pushing the limits here- he's totally interrupting! (I think that Kerry has also done it once or twice)
EDIT: And if you listen to something besides the awkward pauses and some of the repeated terms, Bush has had some really good moments. But y'all wouldn't notice them, now would'ya?

"Kerry's killing Bush right now, but he's still got the personality of dry toast. "
I agree. I feel like if I threw a rock at his head, it would bounce off like a rubber ball.

I am glad that I don't have the chance to do that.

Debates scare me! I don't like all of this arguing!
Anyone notice how Bush is leaning over, rolling his eyes, etc? That really makes him lose "points" on my scorecard.

Posted: 9/30/04 at 9:59pmI've never loved Kerry as a candidate, but he's winning me over. have the split-screen watchers noticed his great smug half-smirks while bush is talking?

Posted: 9/30/04 at 10:00pmEven if Bush *does* understand more than it seems like he does, his lack of clarity and his inability to support his statements make him someone I don't WANT meeting and negotiating with other countries in sensitive meetings. Good grief, if he can't look better than this during a debate where the rules gave him the advantage and he knew the topic in advance and has been prepping for a week.... well, the possibilities are terrifying.

Remember the debates of 2000?
It was like watching a bad modern art show. Boring and inert.
This is kinda fun!!!
I want Bush to turn to Kerry and say 'Pull my finger.'
