You know, it's funny, the Tony Awards Facebook page mentions World AIDS Day today, and how we should remember those lost. And of course, half the comments are about Jonathan Larson. Pisses me off. People actually died of AIDS needlessly, from geniuses like Bennett, to lower men on the totem pole, and we have to read about some guy who wrote one piece of sentimental schlock and didn't die of AIDS?
Forgive the persnicketiness of this, but go read The Normal Heart or Angels in America, and have a GREAT DAY RENT-heads. Love ya. I'm waiting to be slaughtered for this one, too.
I have always thought Rent was a shlocky Hallmark card version of the AIDs crisis. I am spending the day missing those I have lost including my beloved Kevin who died in my arms Dec 23, 1993.
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!
