Actually, Abigail is going to be in My Sister's Keeper...far from the roles she usually plays.
I'm sorry, but the story doesn't sound near as heartwarming as LOVE, ACTUALLY and BRIDGET JONES....and also these sorts of scripts always seem to work better with English foundations, like in the two mentioned movies.
I dunno. I think I'm racist. Against myself?

You're welcome, Cruel Sandwhich.
Not to mention the characters in LOVE ACTUALLY and BRIDGET JONES are realistic and well-developed.
I hate the title so much that I don't think I could get myself to see it, as much as I love Abigail Breslin. The previews were pretty boring too.
I still don't understand the plot. Is it that she knows which one her mother is, but because of the divorce, she wants to know how they met and fell in love and how the bad ended up happening? Or does she not know which one her mom is and it's like "SURPRISE! TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT!"?
I was confused about that at first too, Anna. I think I figured it out, though. She has to know her mom, because her parents are only NOW getting divorced. But she doesn't know the story of how her parents met. So her dad tells her the story with different names and doesn't tell her which one is her mom in the story. AKA she won't find out for sure until the end of the story when he marries one of them.

I bet you could hear my snort of derision all the way in la la land, huh?
The NYTimes liked the movie a lot. I've read a few good reviews. I'm anticipating seeing it, it has a few likable actors in it.
I actually do like all of the actors.
And I stand by my original comment.
Yeah I'm wondering how it just ends...it just..does? She figures out which one is her mother, and they say the line from the trailer about how the happy ending is her...and then that's it?
I could tell by the trailer and commercials that I would be Definitely not interested.
Ok..I'll admit it...I actually liked it! True, not as great as Love, Actually but still cute.
**************SPOILERS BELOW*******************
I was really glad that he still went ahead and got divorced. I'm glad they didn't do the "oh...remember how great it was when we met makes me want to try again". Of course, then I thought it would have a sad, but realistic ending. However, the girl in me loved the completely chick flick ending of him ending up with April.
OK responding to SPOILERS WARNGIN
April was NOT the mother then, right? Which one was April? Red hair?
WHICH ONE OF YOU BITCHES IS MY MOTHER?
I don't think it's necessarily fair to compare this movie to Love Actually. It may be the same writers, but it's not the same movie. You'd attack it then, too, if it were too similar.
I actually really liked it.
I'd love to hear that actual reason why you think it's awful.
SPOILERS
April is NOT the mother....Emily, the blonde girl is her mother, and the woman he is divorcing. There's actually a cute scene when the little girl completely writes off the fact that Emily could be her mother, because "the first girl in the story always gets dumped" April is the red headed girl he meets on the Clinton campaign and whom he becomes great friends with but never actually dates.
