AIA? Not sure. The picture is from bare: a pop opera. And the normal icon flashes a longer message that says All I want is there in your eyes. Question for people here: how do you change your username thing? I just selected this one when i first signed up but now i would like to change it.

Go to settings. There's a link called something like "Upload New Icon".

Its ok, my friend and I watch them at the same time and keep a running commentary going on IM. With our gasps and shouts of exasperation when something wrong happens. I love Paige, true she is manipulating and evil, but she is pretty cool. And thanks for the info on how to change the name.

I didn't read your question thoroughly.
I thought you wanted to change your icon.
Username is more complicated.
In theory, you can't change it.
You're stuck.
And the only way to get a new one is to make another account.
But the guys who run the board don't usually allow multiple accounts.
Send a PM to Craig or RobD and ask about it.

I know the guy who plays Richard. He claims that his character wasn't originally written as abusive, but he was slapping her around on the set one day and one of the cameramen caught it on tape and decided to add it to the show.

If this is the episode I think it is, I was actually on set for the Break up" shoving around stuff. My memory was the show always was scripted re dating "abuse".

If so, it's REALLY cool that you know a Degrassi actor.
I'm kinda freaking out about it right now.
I can't believe he wasn't originally abusive.
I wonder what they were planning to do with that character.
Get Terri pregnant?

They seem to be sort of repeating the plotlines lately.
This is the second time dealing with abuse.
They're on their third line about difficulties that homosexuals face.
And I've heard a rumor about something else coming along this season that's kind of a repeat.
And another rumor about something that parallels some plots in the original Degrassi series of the 80s.
Not that there's anything wrong with repeating plots.
If anything, it makes it more realistic, as many people face the same challenges in real life.
It's just interesting to note.

the abusive character is actually named RICK and I really dont like him. He just really rubs me the wrong way. I know that is part of his role but, I do not care for him at all.

I heard that Craig gets Manny pregnant this season...she thinks she has a flu during cheerleading or iceskating practice but, shes really having a kid..gets kicked out of her house and goes to live with Emma and family even though they are no longer friends.

I also heard ALL 3 seasons are coming out on DVD with the unedited Canadian versions plus extra stuff... and all the original degrassi's are coming out on DVD as well.

I cant wait for season 4 even though Im pretty sure it will be the last DTNG season due to the fact that all the actors will be 17-20 and going off to college.

ahhh-Degrassi cant end!!! this is another random question- Stacey Farber (sp?) is like 17- (she plays Ellie) but she plays the part of like a 14 year old-y do TV producers do this??? it is so confusing? and why do the actors on degrassi look the age they play nonetheless? this is soo confusing *sits and ponders*

it might be different in the US. The US casts people 18 and up who look like teens to avoid parents and teachers on set. The Degrassi cast is 16-19 right now playing either younger or older then they are. They all look the correct age and I adore them =D

There was an article a few weeks back in Entertainment Weekly about how The N refuses to air the episode where Manny finds out she's pregnant and aborts the pregnancy. They said that it was too risque for American teens. But they said they may air it sometime in the future, just not with the new episdoes that are airing through out the summer.

Oh, and I didn't hear that Craig was the father, but he probably is. That makes sense since Manny's a bit trampy now and had a thing with Craig while he was w/ Ashley.

Just to clarify, my previous statement about Rick slapping Terri around on the set was a joke.

It was very much scripted that he was going to become abusive.

I never really thought that the dude that played rick was believable while being so abusive. any thoughts
