I'm laughing so hard I'm speechless. Papa, can you explain this?
In his new role as chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Dean has stressed that Democrats are stronger than Republicans on defense. "Defense is a lot broader than swaggering around saying you're going to kick Saddam's butt," Dean said Thursday...

Posted: 2/18/05 at 1:32pmI guess it's all in how you think of "Defense." Bill Clinton did an excellent job modernizing the military and developing new weapons. Clinton also had a very good approach to fighting terrorism, which involved actually catching, trying and imprisoning terrorists. His justice department actually stopped terrorist attacks and arrested the people involved, which has fallen out of favor as of late.

Yeah, that little Elian Gonzalez was a major terrorist. Boy, I'm glad he's off the streets.

Repeat after me, Goth:
President Bush hired a p*ss wh*re.
President Bush hired a p*ss wh*re.
President Bush hired a p*ss wh*re.

And Goth, please TRY to cloak your disingenuousness a little better. The Gonzalez thing was COMPLETELY at the behest of the Cuban ex-pats in Miami, and you will NOT find a more Republican bunch than that.
Under whose watch was the Millennium Bombing stopped on New Year's Eve 2000? Gosh, I dunno. Could it have been, CLINTON [Clinton, Clinton, Clinton?]

Huh? What does that have to do with Terrorism? Or are you just unable to refute the facts that Clinton was far better at fighting terrorism so you change the subject?
If so, bring it on. The Clinton administration did exactly the right thing re: Elian Gonzalez: They sent a little boy back to live with his surviviing relatives, rather than opportunistic strangers. That's because the Democrats are the party of family values I guess. Clinton did what he always did, which was to disregard the polls and do what he thought was best, despite criticism from the press. He was remarkable that way.
And, hey, that Janet Reno was a wonder! She stuck to her guns and sent Elian home despite the fact that the Ex-cuban lobby would cripple her gubernatorial ambitions. I guess it's hard to remember what it looked like when people acted in the national good and not just their own interests! Thanks for reminding me!

I'm trying to save you the embarrassment of incidents like:
the first attempt on destroying the World Trade Center
the S.S. Cole
Clinton's first air strike on Iraq where eight of the twenty-one missiles launched against targets went astray and homed in on residential neighborhoods in Baghdad
There are plenty more if you care to acknowledge history.

Where's Osama?
Where's Omar?
Where Zarqawi?
Why did President Bush hire a p*ss wh*re?

Goth, you are getting more and more pathetic with every post. Is it possible for you to deal with anything directly and NOT change the subject when you're wrong?
How many American citizens have died in terror related incidents (and yes, I include this whole Mission Accomplished debacle) under Bush vs. Clinton?
Go ahead, change the subject again. "Oh that evil Hilary, she probably had an affair with Vince Foster between lesbianisms."

Posted: 2/18/05 at 5:14pmNamo, I'm sorry your "Michael Musto for President" campaign only got two votes, but I haven't changed the subject. The subject still is how poorly the Democrats are on Defense. I've given three very good examples, and we all know there are plenty more.

But don't forget the big one, Gothy...ya know...the one that resulted in 2800 dead people at the tip of Manhattan. And that happened under Clinton...OH WAIT...no it didn't
And on a related topic, people still think Namo is Musto?

Yes, and the people involved in the first WTC bombing were quickly caught and are in prison now. The SS Cole attack happened so close to the end of Clinton's term that he consulted with incoming President Bush about how to handle it; He actually had drawn up plans to go after Bin Laden. In fact, as Condolezza Rice put it at the time "The Clinton Administration was obsessed with getting Bin Laden." The Bush administration was more obsessed with doing the opposite of whatever Bill Clinton did, so he did nothing. Wait, I'm sorry that was partisan bashing and not completely accurate; He WANTED to have some meetings about terrorism and stuff, but he put it off till after his month-long vacation ended 9/4/2001. By then it was sadly too late.
