Or calmly asked to see the student's ID. I mean, a legit reporter would have identified himself. You don't just shove a camera in someone's face and start asking (nonsensical) questions.

"Congressman, I'm Blah Blah, a journalism student from So and So University, may I ask you a few questions?"

How hard is that?

Republican Rep King did do a version of this (though with less physical contact), when he not only struck a cameraman, but forcibly restrained him by holding his wrist.

It was wrong for the Dem, and it was wrong for the Rep.

So why are the Democrats so violent? I remember people on this board defending Crazy-Eyes McKinney when she slammed her cell phone into the chest of a Congressional Policeman when he had simply asked for identification.

How do you know what he 'clearly' saw?

It looks like he was reacting to some stranger pointing something at him (Something small enough to be hand held, and made of shiny metal) and yelling a question without saying who he was or what he wanted.

Maybe the guy over reacted by grabbing the guy, but I not surprised he did. Was he supposed to wait to see if the shiny metal object was a camera or a gun?

And it's obvious the guy who posted this is more interested in making the guy look bad. Why would he blur his face out if he's got nothing to hide.
