re: Desperate Housewives- Season Finale

my bet is Alfre's son is really her lover, who has a thing for older women. Perhaps he was a student of hers somewhere...

i'm not at all sure Rex is dead, because: the doctor was very suspicious of Bree when talking to Rex about the potassium; the way the doctor broke the news was patently vague over the phone.

Time will tell. And i'm not even a regulat watcher, was just available to see it last night.

I'm pretty sure Rex is dead. All the promos implied someone wouldn't make it, and DH has been pretty good about not "lying" like that.

I was quite glad they didn't end with us hearing the gunshot... though my guess is that he'll be shot in the leg or something.

I was just over on the DH boards and apparently Steven Culp was on GMA this morning and said the writers/producers called him in to inform him of his demise.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Great episode! You know my first thought when they said Rex was dead though? Oh that poor actor is out of a job. That stinks. Haha. That's the way I think. It was a great episode. I can't wait to see Lynette go back to work. Also, the part where Zach was holding a gun to Susan's side reminded me of some episode of Law and Order or CSI or something I watched. And, you know Mike's not going to die because they are NOT going to kill of James Denton. I can't wait for next season, though.

I think they're also showing some scene that didn't make it into last nights show.

Wow... the cut scene was actually excellent. It's the girls in the hospital room after Susan told them about Mrs. Huber's diary, and how she was blackmailing Mary Alice about the baby. And they put 2 and 2 together - Mrs. Huber blackmailing Mary Alice and then getting killed herself.

And what would've been the quote of the week from Bree: "If MH had anything to do with Mary Alice's suicide, then I think good riddance to bad rubbish."

Steven Culp was actually quite funny. He said the men realize that the show is about the housewives, and the men all very expendable... he said he thought Rex's character prolly only had a couple of seasons on the show anyway.

That sounds like what my flight arrangements tend to be like....Seattle to LA via New York...

I thought it was great! I wonder, now that Mary Alice's storyline has wrapped up, will she still be the narrator for the next season?

re: Desperate Housewives- Season Finale

Nah -- after all she's still watching over her friends -- and hell, how do we know it's ever really over with her storyline?

I suppose so. But I guess she'll be sticking with the narration - no more flashbacks.
