Desperately need help selecting/avoiding certain audition songs

I've got a wonderful new voice teacher I'm excited about working with at CAP21.....I'm more of a dancer that a singer so I look forward to a ton of insight as far as song selection goes.

Here's way I'm toying with:

anything from Edges (god it is gorgeous)
No les mis
Is Gimme Gimme from TMM too overdone :/
stuff from title of show....

blah idk

advice?

i hate to say it and as much as i love gimme gimme, it's an over sung song.

Edges is recent enough that you might want to stay away from it.
