So I had only seen her intros on Mystery! on PBS but I've recently discovered The Avengers on BBCAmerica, and just wow. She was smokin' hot!
Besides looking gorgeous, she always dressed in the latest 'mod' fashions, which made her an icon for my friends and I when we were teens. I know she was 75% of the reason "The Avengers" became the cult hit it is today.
As a gay man, I have to say YES, she was hot. And totally fabulous in every way. Having only fairly recently discovered The Avengers (also on BBCAmerica), I have to agree that a huge part of the show's charm was her.
Be sure to check her out as the best Bond girl ever in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."

The Avengers is absolutely awesome. When I first started performing with my band, I actually tried to model my costumes after Emma Peel.
Yay, Diana Rigg!
I love Diana Rigg, she is great!!! I love her in the films I've seen: The Great Muppet Caper, A Little Night Music, Theatre of Blood and Evil Under the Sun

My dad and I watched reruns of The Avengers when I was little and I was always fascinated by Diana Rigg. She was just so cool, kicking ass in her kick ass clothes.
Was? Did she die?
No. Like the rest of us, she just got....... MATURE.
She's still hot to me.

I wish I could have seen her performance as Violet in Suddenly, Last Summer.
oh no! first rita moreno and now diana rigg!?! damn you old age! damn you!!
It's getting them ALL. It's an epidemic.
We should start a petition against it.

Once people hit 50, I refuse to acknowledge they exist. My parents keep calling, but I know if I pick up, I'll get some of their old on me.
You are wise for your age.
I saw this interview with her and her Honour co-star in England on the site that goes unnamed and she looks fine to me, and is quite engaging even though it's a short interview.
I love her in anything she does regardless of how old she may look.
Well she is still attractive for her age, but I had no idea what a bombshell she was when she was younger. There is nothing wrong with a mature beauty, but I think the term "hot" really isn't as accurate a term for mature women. Unless you are talking about flashes...
i saw a bit of THE AVENGERS the other day, and boy did that bring back memories. the show was very original for the time. and yes she was HOTTTT!
The ONLY time I ever snuck back stage was to see her in Follies in London. TOTALLY worth it. She was so gracious and welcoming. I can still remember in my teenage years trying DESPERATELY to get my hait o go into the Emma Peel flip w/out success. Dame Diana will always be to me the alpha and omega of kool heat.
