It seems that Palin has more coverage now than she did prior to the election. Matt Lauer of NBC Today was in Alaska interviewing Palin in her home. She has been on Fox Noise, ABC and now this story on CNN?
Did I miss something? I thought Biden was the next VP?
Palin says she'd be honored

For better or worse she was the most colorful character in the election and people are curious.
Personally, I love that she's getting coverage. She has to be the single funniest thing on TV.

Posted: 11/12/08 at 6:01pmI love how she's playing the victim. I still want someone to call her out on the "inciting possible violence" towards Obama during some of her rallies.

Back when Bush was new, I kinda liked him. I didn't think he'd be a good president, but he made me laugh. Then, as the years went by, I slowly and painfully learned that it just wasn't enough. Where Palin is at right now is fine for me. Funny, but a failure, so we're safe to keep paying her attention (for now at least).
I quite like Biden, although he gets NO press. Poor fella.

When he opens his mouth he makes sense.
That instantly puts him in a different league than Palin.

Yeah, the fact he's not Palin is a BIG factor in his favour.
He has a brain. When I think there's a possibility he just may - God forbid! - have to step up in a worst-case scenario, I don't feel fear. I'd invite him round for a barbecue and not just to mock him.

I'm so glad you said that, Dottie.
I don't know why there hasn't been a harsher backlash for her despicable behavior that you mentioned. She's a hatemonger and it's dangerous. You don't stoke the hate, fear, and anger of a individual, let alone a large crowd.
But then again, she wouldn't know any better because she's one of the most ignorant and idiotic people to enter the national spotlight.

Yep- the more I hear her talk- the more ignorant she comes across. She just sounds like she's trying too hard to make people think she is smart and informed when the opposite is occuring. Did anyone else catch the Greta love fest? I just thought it was odd that Palin was pretty much standing in her kitchen the whole time so she wouldn't have to make eye contact. I mean- how hard is it to put cheese in a hot dog? Please- just make her go away! So far, Stevens is losing by 3 votes- I really hope he loses so that Palin can't even think about taking his seat! just sayin'

Biden's the vice president elect. He doesn't need press. That the mainstream media is still giving Palin attention is not indicative of anything other than the national inability to look away from long, slow-motion car wrecks.
Biden's going to be like vice presidents were before they were Satan (Bush's vice) and almost-Sarah. I say the longer Palin is considered "the future of the Republican party" the better.

Posted: 11/13/08 at 12:09amApparently the McCain campaign wouldn't let her do any interviews after the Katie Couric disaster, except with Fox News. But now that the election is over, she can talk to whoever and blame whoever she wants. And during the election Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow both invited Palin to do a live interview with either one of them. Obviously that did not happen.

Well, they would FILTER everything.

I was one who laughed at the obvious stupidity of George W.Bush.
Even incredible, overwhelming stupidity doesn't stop people from voting for you. For many, it seems to be a selling point.

Posted: 11/13/08 at 8:52amI want Palin to be on the air 24/7 between now and 2012. The more visible she remains, the more people are reminded of just how ignorant she is. On issues, she has nothing but extreme social conservatism. Her life story is compelling, and some people find her folksy demeanor attractive, but the more familiar she becomes, those attributes become less important, and we're left with the issues, and she's got nothin'.

I would LOVE to see Paris Hilton and Sarah Palin do a new season of "The Simple Life" together.
THAT would be great TV!

Now that she's no longer a threat to life as we know it, she's a bizarre hoot. The kitchen scenes with Matt Lauer were especially priceless -- though Matt, form-fitting sweater-clad and the spiffy First Dude looked like a chic gay couple entertaining a dateless Alaskan divorcee with way too many children.
But did anyone see her with Wolf yesterday? He tried to get a real answer out of her on policy -- you know, something besides HER, her past, present and gosh darn 2012 future -- and she did the usual Couric era two-step.
It was about the bailout of the auto industry, and after blathering on the way my dear old Mom used to on her diet pills -- you know, without a whiff of punctuation -- Blitzer finally interupted, "so I hear you saying you need more information?" "Yuh, Wullf, I need more info." Never have words been truer.
