Did anyone like that music in Juno?

The songs were a little too aggressively quirky, much like the rest of the movie. I'd have liked it a lot more with less songs.

I didn't think anyone liked that Sonic Youth version of "Superstar." That scene made me a little queasy.

What scene? I don't know anything about rock or popular music. Actually I was pretty lost whenever Juno and the dad character talked about rock.

"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

I really enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for pretty much anything with that quirky, indie-type sound, but as soundtracks went, I thought it both fit the movie AND was something that would get plenty of play on my iPod.

Then again, it's definitely not to everybody's taste - but I guess those of us who like it really respond to it.
