Posted: 4/21/07 at 11:37pmI watching this movie CAROUSEL the other night, and I thought, y'know, that'd make a cool play. But they'd have to change the locale to make it more visually interesting, so I was thinking, like, maybe they could change it to Eastern Europe.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the Rent movie yet. Sheesh! Is this BWW or ATC?

You know who would have been really good as the wife in DEATHTRAP when she was younger? Marian Seldes.
But she's so much in demand, she probably would have left the show after a few months, and they'd have to find a replacement.

Posted: 4/22/07 at 2:36pmLet's get Sondheim to do something - after all, he writes the music, and the lyrics and the book and he does the scenery and the lighting and the publicity. Then we can call it a Sondheim musical like everyone else does.
