re: Dim Sum...

hah I've never been to Vancouver, but I guess I shall try it one of these days. It's funny that my family and I take a 10 hour car trip to Markham JUST to eat chinese food (dim sum included) and go shopping in the chinese malls.

re: Dim Sum...

I blame you people for the fact that I just had to go to the shop across from my work and get dim sum (or for the aussies, a dim sim) for breakfast.
I bowed to the peer pressure!

re: Dim Sum...

On behalf of my people, I will gladly take the blame. re: Dim Sum... (If you like the traditional Catonese dim sum - i.e. the shrimp balls and siew mai that Corine was talking about - I would recommend trying a Shanghai dim sum, which is more dumpling and noodle based. *drool*)

re: Dim Sum...

If you want good dim sum, go to Toronto (Markham).

True. I can proudly say that Toronto (and surrounding areas) has the best dim sum in the world. Actually, the best Southern Chinese food in the world -- this was remarked to me by a slew of well-travelled Hong Kong government officials!
