I can't figure out how to get it to work for Mac.

I've used AdBlock so long, any time I'm a computer without it I can't believe how awful and disruptive ads have gotten.

AdBlock doesn't automatically skip or disable the ads that play before the YouTube videos though, right?

I use AdBlock plus for Chrome and nothing else and I've never seen an ad on YouTube.

best, if you're using safari on your mac there's also ad block for that on the apple site. Just open safari, click the safari tab, click safari extensions and search for ad block.
