^exactly.
when she was asked "why is it always the black man, why isn't it about black women" she went off about unprotected sex and men fooling around. like women don't? she has a serious hang up about it all due to her ex fooling around on her and she is so un open about anyone else's opinions when it comes to things of this nature.

Posted: 6/25/10 at 6:41amSo, if a guy identifies as gay in high school, bit is a virgin, is he allowed to donate? It all seems ridiculous. If I had a drunken one night stand with some random guy 10 years ago, they wouldn't know. I would be FAR more likely to have it than most gay men I know who practice very safe sex.

No, the form doesn't actually ask "are you gay?" but rather is something along the lines of "are you a male who has had sex with another male since 1979?" or something like that. It's been a while since I've donated blood, so I don't remember the exact wording or the "cut off" year, but a gay virgin would still be allowed to donate.
That being said, there have been times when I've lied so that I could donate, like during the blood drives immediately following 9/11. I'm O+ and that was a time when the need to contribute to the greater good definitely outweighed following that stupid policy.
