How old was he when he sang the songs in the movie?
I just saw Lea Salonga on Disney Channel for MULAN II!! I am so excited. I love Mulan, and I'm glad she is singing in it again. I hope there are more songs in this one.

Posted: 1/23/05 at 5:09pmkangaroo - No idea. How old is he now? I think the movie was released in 1997. He's listed as Young Hercules' singing voice on IMDB, which could be a mistake. From what I can remember he sang for Tate Donovan, who provided the voice for the older Hercules. Hmm...

I like the Anastasia Soundtrack - and Liz Callaway sounds beautiful on it.
Technically, we can add Billy Crystal to the list. He is a star, he is on Broadway, and we all known and love Mike Wazowski in "Monsters, Inc."

I guess that is true, but I was looking for more of BROADWAY STARS who sang SONGS for CARTOON MOVIES. Not so much of voicing in movies.
I also love Anastasia. It's a great movie, but it is a sad one... becuase it is based on a true story, but the true story is a lot more tragic.

I know you asked for songs, but I had to mention those left out:
Barbara Barrie (Company) and Carole Shelly were both in Hercules
Pat Carrol (R&H Cinderella) was Ursula
Liz Callaway was in the Ensemble of Beauty & the Beast
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."

Lesley Ann Warren made her movie debut in Disney's "THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE" (1967).
She also starred in Disney's "THE ONE AND ONLY, GENUINE, ORIGINAL FAMILY BAND" [1968]
Natasha Richardson co-starred in Disney's big screen remake "THE PARENT TRAP" (1997) the same year she starred as "Sally Bowles" in the Sam Mendes revival of "CABARET".
