More Disney DTV titles on the way
Variety, via Ultimate Disney, indicates that Kronk's New Groove may see its DVD release sometime in January 2006, in order to coincide with the debut of the Disney Channel series The Emperor's New School. In addition, the article mentions that currently in the works at DisneyToon Studios are the following projects: Cinderella III, The Little Mermaid III, Brother Bear II, The Aristocats II, The Tinker Bell Movie, Mickey in Space, and The Fox and the Hound II.

Can we go see the Little Mermaid 18?? I hear that in this one Ariel celebrates her 90th birthday and as a present Prince Eric gives her a giant fishbowl so that she can still swim, but not get lost anymore when her alzhmers kicks in!"

Posted: 5/4/05 at 1:37pmI don't like any of the Disney sequels! Mulan 2 was horrible, Lion King 2 and 1 1/2 were not great, and Little Mermaid 2 was just ew. They need to come up with more original movies with good scores/soundtracks!!!!!! Bring back the days of Little mermaid, beauty and the beast, aladdin, lion king, tarzan, mulan, hercules, etc!!!!!!!!!!

But Beav, that might actually not be so bad. I always thought GV might actually WORK as a cartoon. It's stupid enough that it just might make a fun, decent cartoon.

F*CK GV, turn AIDA into an animated film. It doesn't have to be targeted for children, make it for older audiences!
Disney no longer had their magic, so they should change their outlook and re-make the company.
Leave Walt's legacy behind. Don't even try any more. Let him be at peace that he had a legendary company that changed the world.

AIDA would be an awesome animated film. Price Of Egypt-esque animation. Possibly CGI.
Bring back the OBC to voice the characters.

Wow. Another sequel to The Little Mermaid? I wasn't too crazy about the second one. The only sequels I liked were Toy Story 2, The Rescuers Down Under, and The Lion King 1 & 1/2.

Em, ITA about Little Mermaid 1 and 2! TLM is one of my two all-time favorite movies and I was soo disappointed in the sequel. I can't even imagine a third....grr.
You know what I always thought would make a cute disney animated musical? Once On This Island. Granted it's already taken from the Little Mermaid but it stands on its own. I would love to see what they do to the Gods. The ending...well, they might change it if necessary but it still would be great.
