shut UP. They will not destroy Fox and the Hound, the one Disney movie where I cry everytime I watch it, by giving it a sequeal.

Cinderella 3?!! As if the second one wasn't bad enough..

I say leave the princess's fate on the dreams and imagination fo the little children...

i honestly don't even watch the sequels. they'll never be as good as the originals. the only one that i can remember seeing is the aladdin sequel. return of jafar? is that the name?

I agree Aladdin is HOT...I married a dark skinned boy..lol I wonder how he would feel if he knew he was my fantasy man becase of a cartoon? lol

Disney started sucking right around the time they started destroying their classic movies with all these bastardized sequels. And the worst part is that they are straight-to-video releases. Why aren't the people working on creating the next great classic animated Disney movies instead? Now that they lost their deal with Pixar, they're just scrounging for other options.

And yes, the guy that played Steve, DJ's boyfriend on Full House, was the voice of Aladdin in the movie.

Back in the late 80s/early 90s (when I was young) Disney was so cool. Now it's gone down the toilet.

Yes, D.J. Tanner's boyfriend was the (speaking) voice of Alladin.

Speaking of Disney, did anyone see any of the new mini-series version of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE? I swear, the long, lingering close-ups on Laura and Mary gave me the creepy feeling that the director might have a thing for little girls.

Disney has started to close their main animation studios (particularly their classical studios, it's mostly CG now) and is contracting the work out to other companies. My boyfriend works in Toronto but is a main animator on the Wild, which is Disney's 2006 feature.
Disney is keeping an animation studio open in LA SPECIFICALLY to churn out the sequels. So keep your pants on. There's a whole studio devoted to these sequels now, this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I think it's sad that they're devoting all this energy into making these sequels. I would love to see them come out with more orginal movie-musicals like they did with Hercules and Mulan

I went to The MAgic Kingdom December of 03 and it is so sad to see the animation studio there. It is lifeless and is basically there as a museum. I really hate Einser for what he has done to so many people's childhoods

You have to check out SaveDisney.com - it's Roy Disney's site and there are some amazing clips and evidence as to how/why Disney has gone downhill under Eisner... at least with Iger in now, they might be able to salvage the Pixar relationship - but honestly, now they're doing sequels to movies that weren't that good to begin with (Brother Bear II????) Yuk!

I htought Brother bear was cute! The voice for Koda was annoying at first but now its kind of endearing
