Disney's Sing Along Songs

Who else LOVED these as a kid? I would watch them non stop over and over and over! The best one was "Disneyland Fun"!

They have been releasing them on DVD but they don't have that late 80s/early 90s feel to them. lol.

lol. Me too! I had bought three copies in two years! haha. I haven't seen it for a while though, but I still remember every word to every song! lol.

I know what you mean. My sister put one on a few months ago and I started singing the theme song like it was nobody's business. I didn't even know I knew all the words!

This is a bit off-topic, but did anyone else have those tapes that had your name in them and they would sing about you?

Oh, okay.

The live action one was awesome. They actually had a few that took place in Disney World at Typhoon Lagoon and Fort Wilderness. They were really great. I have lost all of the videos now..i'm thinking about buying them on DVD.

I watched these ALL the time!! I loved the one with that song from Oliver & Company, "Why should I worry? Why should I care?" And the Haunted Mansion. And Zippidee Do Da. Fun times!

I LOVED these when I was litle. I was a real performer as a kid so I'd sing anything--I jused to gather my family together for "concerts" when I was a little kid so I would sing Disney songs and Billy Joel (I was OBSESSED with Billy Joel and Elton John when I was, like, three). I used to watch these constantly.

And I got those tapes with my name in them when I was about six. Those were so much fun. It made me so self-centered

OMG the Billy Joel song 'Why Should I Worry?' I danced to that constantly with these tapes! And I would totally belt out any Elton John song whenever possible too. Aww, these bring back really good memories

I LOVED these tapes!!! I babysit these 2 girls and every time I go over to their house I ask them if we can watch them (they have like every single one). I had a favorite one, I think it was the one at Typhoon Lagoon, but it broke and I was so upset. I still watch the Disneyland fun one sometimes.

Hehe, I loved these too! My first one was "Be Our Guest" and then I got "Friend Like Me," "Circle of Life," and "Under the Sea." Decided I preferred Jiminy Cricket as host to the big duck.

I think the "Be Our Guest" tape introduced me to Mary Poppins, and that was the reason I wanted to see it, and of course, fell in love with it.

I loved those. They were AWESOME.
