Saw it last night. Very good film. Sharlto Copley was great. Interesting character and terrific performance. Intelligent and smart, but touching, too. Good combination of sci-fi, thriller and action movie that shows the good and bad of humanity. Learn to love the aliens, people. They're our friends!

The budget was something ridiculously small like $30 million. Even Julie & Julia had a $40 million budget. Transformers and Harry Potter were in the $200+ million range.

No sequel, please.

Finally a movie released in the middle of the blockbusters, that was smart, funny, thrilling, original, well written and hugely enjoyable.

I will agree no sequel, please.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Since this is certain to make a mint - mostly because of the ridiculously low budget - a sequel is almost a given.

Saw it today. Lots of thoughts running around in my head at once. I enjoyed the first half of the movie more than the second, but the whole thing was pretty great as far as I'm concerned. I felt a real emotional impact in the beginning watching how the treatment the aliens received becomes the treatment Wikus receives as soon as he's of value to MNU. The second half become a bit more conventional.

However, Sharlto Copley=AMAZING.

FANTASTIC!

No one wants to see a musical called Thoroughly Modern Mildred.
